Darkstar Digital use inkjet(Giclée) printing to produce the highest print quality available for Fine Art, Photographic and Graphic Design work. Achieving high definition images with smooth gradients and continuous tones with a large a dynamic range using Epson’s archival Ultra Chrome HD pigment ink sets. We boast a large rang of papers and are keen to work with you to fine the right print result for your work.
Proofing and Consultations
For the finest results, we recommend our proofing and consultation services. Spending a little more time and care to get your image right can make a huge difference.
Proofing -
Proofing your images is your opportunity to preview your work and make final adjustments, ensuring the elimination of unexpected color and quality issues caused by file quality or monitor calibration and missed mistakes.
Isolate a key section of the image for a 100% accurate color and resolution test.
Scaled-to-fit an image on A4/A3 sheet of your chosen paper, providing a over all view view of your work on that specific paper.
Create contact sheets for evaluating a series of prints and refining your adjustments.
Create a colour balance proof to fine the colour of your image.
Alternatively, entrust Darkstar Digital with this process. We’ll review your files, make necessary adjustments, and present you with a proof for approval. This might entail a consultation and a second round of proofs, or you can rely on our expertise to complete the print after adjustments.
Hard Proofs
A4 and A3 off-cut proofs, printed on the same paper and printer as the final print, delivering an accurate preview of the final print quality.
Soft Proofing
If you already know the size and paper you prefer and have Photoshop and a well-calibrated monitor, contact us to receive the printer profile. Soft proof in Photoshop with confidence and make your final adjustments.

We have an extensive range of premium quality inkjet papers from Canson and Ilford, including cotton rag, art papers, photographic fiber based and resin coated papers, as well as quality economy matte and photographic papers. Our stocks are available in flat sheet sizes of A4, A3, A3+, and A2 Our roll sizes range from 61cm up to 162cm depending the specific substrate.
